If you have low vision, you should see an eyecare professional to get a complete exam. The low vision specialist will give you some treatments for your loe vision. The non-optical adaptive devices are usually used to deal with low vision. For example, large-print books, audio tapes, special light fixtures and others will be recommended by low vision specialist to people with low vision.

I use some low vision devices to help me in daily living changes. You can also have a try. Here are some devices you can use: Strong magnifying lenses with extra illumination, for reading and other near vision work. Audio tapes, specially adapted computer or television screens, and telescopes. Lens filters and shields to reduce glare.
