No, the vision correction of ortho-k lens is not permanent, instead, it is reversable. When you stop wearing, your vision can go back to what it is before wearing ortho-k lenses. So it is much safer than laser eye surgery which may cause damage that cannot be undone.

No. Ortho-k is reversible. if you stop wearing the lenses at night, you go back to how you were before wearing ortho-k. But in lasik surgery, if something goes wrong, there is no way to go back.

Ortho-k lens has non-permanent effect because it is reversable. If you stop the Ortho-k lens treatment, you vision will go back to the sate before the treatment. While Laser eye surgery is not reversable. Once you have laser eye surgery, you cannot return to original state.
