It maybe a good idea. As we know long time exposure to ultraviolet rays may raise his risk for cataracts and other eye problems later in life. Since babies are very delicate, we need to take good care of them. So, parents shall choose sunglasses with 100% UV rays to protect their eyes from sunshine. Of course, you shall buy sunglasses with the advices of eye doctors so as to make sure the sunglasses you choose won't hurt your babies.

Of course, babies need to wear sunglasses when they are exposed to the sunlight. UV rays can cause damage to the eyes, especially for children. Babies are at a higher risk of damage by UV rays. They are also supposed to wear sunglasses to protect their eyes. Otherwise they will develop some eye problems in later life. Make sure the sunglasses for your baby have 100% UV protection to block both UVA and UVB rays.

It's ok for babies to wear sunglasses to protect their eyes from some harmful ray, but maybe it's not easy to buy a small size to fit on the babies' face size. So you need to look for some sunglasses which are special customized making for babies, if use the adult sunglasses you need to take very care, not to let the sunglasses fall off and hurt your baby.
