As far as i could know, There is no way to cure nearsightedness(myopia) except lasiky surgery. Though, i saw some people post some nature way to recovery vision ( some people said that insisting eye exercise everyday can recover eyesight for people with nearsightedness). But i never meet people around me that recovery their vision except surgery. Maybe You can help your children by keeping your children do eye exercise everyday and letting them obtain more vitamin A, C, E.

Studies have indicated that Orthokertalogy lenses may be a viable myopia treatment option to slow the progression of nearsightedness in children.Otherwise known as nearsightedness or shortsightedness, myopia is a condition in which your near vision is clear but distant objects appear blurred to an uncorrected eye. This is due to the eyeball elongating as we grow during early adolescence. The result is a mismatch between the length of the eye and its optical power causing light entering the eye to focus in front of the retina rather than directly on it.

Using iSee Ortho-k corneal reshaping lenses to gently reshape the cornea re-aligns the optical focal point onto the retina allowing patients with prescriptions as high as -10.50 to see clearly all day. Although the use of iSee Ortho-k corneal refractive therapy lenses are not FDA approved for myopia progression control, there are many studies that suggest that Ortho-k therapy may reduce the progression of myopia(nearsightedness) in many children and adolescent Ortho-k therapy patients. In addition to Ortho-K corneal reshaping lenses providing nearly immediate results in correcting myopia, several studies also indicate that Ortho-K corneal refractive therapy lenses may help prevent myopia from worsening significantly in future.

Traditionally, glasses and conventional daytime contact lenses have been prescribed to correct temporarily myopia. However, for children, and many young adults, this correction does not prevent their myopia from worsening over time thus requiring stronger prescription lenses to achieve the necessary level of correction.Visit http://www.isee.com/ for more information on iSee ortho-k lenses.

Nearsightedness, also called myopia, is the most common refractive error of the eye and it has become more and more prevalent in recent years. There are some ways you may have a try. First, you may try glasses or contact lenses which are the most common way for myopia treatment. However, it may be difficult to apply to babies. Second, exercises are usually adopted by people to cure myopia, which is said to be worth a try. Roll your baby's eyes side to side and up and down. Besides, another common way is to take a biberry extract supplement that has been shown to prevent macular degeneration and is also believed to help with night vision problems. You may choose a most feasible way to cure myopia in your baby.

True myopia is irreversible, it is organic changes occurred in the eye, the front and rear axles of the eye become longer, through eye's dioptric system, the outside images form image on the retina, but there have not clear images on the retina. Except surgery, any other methods can not make the diopter change, no matter a high degree or low degree of myopia. So lasik surgery may be the most helpful method, but you can let your child intake more foods rich in vitamin, such as fish, carrots, milk and so on, which are good for eyes, but can not fundamentally cure myopia.
