  No, not all sunglasses need to be polarized. There are some common sunglasses that can shield the eyes in sun. Of courses, sunglasses polarized are better. Compared regular sunglasses, polarized sunglasses can not only reduce strong light, prevent UV rays, but also choose filter glares from water surface, metal surface etc. This is also the reason why many fishermen and driver like to wear polarized sunglasses.

  Well, sunglasses will have to be polarized if they are supposed to serve good function to protect your eyes, because in this way, the glasses will be able to prevent reflected light and protect your eyes well. Perhaps in the future, a new kind of sunglasses will be born, which is also, bound to better protect human's eyes.
