Getting some prescription sunglasses from Lenscrafter?

I just bought a prescription glasses from another place. When I go into Lenscrafter, will I still have to do another eye exam just to buy my sunglasses? and if so how much will it be?

Theoretically speaking, you could do this but sounds not good because sometimes the lenses rub together and will get scratched. There are some prescription sunglasses on-line that can meet the both needs.

If you want to get some prescription sunglasses from Lenscrafter, just provide your prescription which you can get from where you bought your prescription glasses. The time should be less than 2 years till you get your another pair of prescription glasses.

You don't need to have another eye exam. You can just buy a pair of prescription glasses with your prescription. Usually we will have our eyesight checked every year to see whether there are some big changes. We don't need to have an eye exam every time before buying a pair of glasses.

You don't need to have an eye exam. The prescription for your glasses is also suitable for your sunglasses. Usually the doctors will suggest patients who have vision problems to have an eye exam every year. If there isn't any sign of big changes in your eyesight, you don't need to have another eye exam within a year. Thought an eye exam is less than $100, there is no need to spend it. You can add some money to buy a pair of sunglasses that you like. Or you can buy a pair of prescription sunglasses online with that money. The sunglasses online are much cheaper than that sold in any physical shops.
