  As a matter of fact, they are made in more than one place in the world. Personally speaking, I find it really cool if you are an adult, with nice jacket and stuff like that. Generally speaking, the place of purchase is the country of origin, which means that they are home-made. However, nowadays, as you can see , we live in a globalized world, and things are made in different parts of the world. They tend to be made in some labor-intensive countries, of course, America is not in the list, so does Japan, Britain, German, etc.
