Try to keep your eyes open widely, while you see something blurred. Do not squint. Eye exercises can improve the situation. Move your eye balls frequently, open eyes widely and move to left, right, up and down. Close your eyes and move 10 times. Open, move, close, move...like this way. For several weeks, your eyes will be gleaming. And your eyesight can be improved. Other ball games, like ping-pong and badminton are also facilitate to improve your eyes.

You eyes must be dry which may cause your eyes to look glassy. As we know, using eye drops can release the symptom of dry eyes. If you don't want to use the eye drops, you can choose to eat more food with vitamin C which may moisture your eyes. In addition, use less time on using computers or watching TV which may intensify the dryness of eyes.

I think you can do like this. First, hold some ice over your (closed) eyes. It constricts the blood vessels...and makes them less red. Second, carry a dark blue eyeliner with you. After you've had a good cry, line your eyelids with the dark blue liner, it'll make them appear less red.

The glassy eyes refers to an appearance of listlessness in which the eyes are unfocused and without lustre. Actually, placing a couple of Visine or Rhoto eyedrops in your eyes can take away some of the glazed look fairly quickly. If you do not want to use eye drops, you can also try using of natural tears 4-6+ times/day to assist with your natural tear production. If you are concerned about having glassy eyes your doctor can diagnose the cause and take measures to address it. For example, if your doctor diagnoses you have hypoglycemia, then treatment would involve raising your blood sugars levels, and finding what's the cause of the condition itself.
