Yes, when you do not have enough sleep, it is likely to have photophobia. For lack of sleep may make the blood flow become slow and also make you get the eye strain, the photophobia can happen. As we know that photophobia is eye discomfort in bright light and your situation is just like it. So you should pay more attention to this kind of disease. There are many factors which can cause the photophobia, such as burns to the eyes or corneal abrasion and even some medicines can also lead to it. Anyway, if you have got this kind of eye disease, you'd better go and see an eye doctor as soon as possible. I think he can give you the good advice.

If you lack of sleep, you may feel eye tired, burning eyes and eyes appear red, dark circles and puffy eyes etc. But it is a temporary symptoms. They will disappear after you get a good asleep. But i never heard that lacking of sleep will cause photophobia. If you sensitive to eyes, you'd better get your eye checked by a doctor so as to take the right way to treat your eyes.

Well, it is true that sometimes if you are used to night life and don't expose to sun light, it is possible that you begin to get afraid of strong lights. Technically, people call this symptom photophobia anyway. In the meantime, you are in dire need of sleep and rest, which would be able to cause you photpphobia, since our eyes always need time to get away from strong lights.
