  It is really a breakthrough to implant contact lenses into eyes. It is really a good candidates to instead laser refractive surgical procedures. With implantable contact lenses, it can help you restore your vision even if you have severe nearsightedness and farsightedness. But there are also risks of taking implantable contact lenses including infection, damage to healthy tissues, and post-surgical discomfort etc. Besides, it may also take the risks of loss of vision, double vision, and retinal detachment though it is rare, but possible.

  Implantable contact lenses (ICLs) are a breakthrough technology that reduces reliance on glasses and traditional contact lenses. You should be aware of the benefits and risks associated with this kind of lenses. One biggest advantage of ICLs is that they can treat people who do not be good for LASIK or other refractive surgeries. It is extremely safe and highly effective, restoring vision to 20/40 or better in most cases. However, it could cause infection, damage to healthy tissues, and post-surgical discomfort, as other surgeries. And it could lead to some serious risks, such as double vision, retinal detachment but these conditions are rare. Even it is possible that the people's vision would be over-or under-corrected.

  Well, of course it is safe to wear implantable contact lenses. There are many people who can not adjust to the laser eye surgery. So for them, the implantable contact lenses are a suitable way to take. It is like a small contact lens. And they are placed inside the eye instead of sitting on the surface. By wearing them, you can be beneficial for rapid recovery and increased clarity of vision. But on the other hand, they still have some side effects. So just be more careful about it.

  Talking about the implantable contact lenses, people will think of the high price. We don’t need the physical surgery and do the help for the vision by wearing the implantable contact lenses. It is really perfect when we listen to such idea. It can help our vision and it is safe and effective to wear. It is really high tech products. However, not everyone is suitable for this. If someone who is not suitable for wearing the implantable contact lenses wears this, it may be risk for him or her to lose the eye sight. However, before you wear it, you must have a full check on your eyes. Compared with the common contact lenses, the implantable contact lenses may be comfortable for you to wear, feeling nothing in the eyes. In a word, the pros is more than the cons.

  Well, implantable contact lenses is a great way to restore your vision. However, those type of solutions comes with it's own risk. Some people say they may cause some problems like eye infection, and very rarely, it may cause vision loss in some cases.
