Yes, egg is good for the eyes. The yolk is rich in lutein and zeaxanthin, which belong to the carotenoid family. They can slow down the process of decrepitude of the eyes. Both of these two elements in the yolk are especially effective in preventing the loss of eyesight of the senior people and they can also, to some extent, prevent the cataract.

Definitely yes, it could help you to keep eye health. As we all known, vitamin A is essential for eye health because of carotenoids. Egg is chock full of eye friendly antioxidants that are rich in lutein. It can help fight macular degeneration to avoid blindness. Although eggs do not contain as much lutein as green leafy vegetables, like broccoli, the body is able to absorb these antioxidants better from eggs. At the same time, they are good for brain function since they provide a protein filled breakfast that keeps you full, which in turn prevents overeating later in the day.

Yes, eating eggs is good for the eyesight. What's more, eating the food with calcium is also good for the eye sight. A lot of people think that the things that can protect the eyes from the harmful ray damage and aging attack is vitamin C and vitamin A. However, the efficiency of these two kinds of vitamin belongs to the plant pigment lutein and corn flavin and in our daily life. In addition to dark green leafy vegetables outside, if we often sit in front of computers, we might as well eat an egg yolk or eggs which do help for our eyes. Thus, keep a habit of eating eggs every day.
