The amount of time that will be needed for an eye swollen situation to go down or heal totally depends on the cause of it. Keep the area clean. You might have an hairline fracture and need to see a doctor. If it is swollen from a fall or a hit in the face area then give it at least two weeks. Take it easy. If No fractures, you will probably see the swelling go down some every day easily until the swelling disappears. Then your real beauty might return earlier than expected. Have a good calm day!

It totally depends on the nature of the cause of swelling, but it often takes one week in common cases. Puffy eyes are a common symptom of allergy, infection, inflammation. Puffy eyes result from excess fluid (edema) in the soft tissues surrounding the eyes. Puffy eyes may occur in conditions affecting the eye area itself or in association with more generalized conditions, such as colds or hay fever. You can apply a cold compress to the eyes by using a clean and clod cloth for 15 minutes. Or you can place cucumber slices and lay on each of the puffy eyes because the natural components in the cucumbers help to soothe the eyes and restore a sense of vitality.

You may drink a lot of water last night before you go to sleep. Or you may cry before the sleep at night. However, the puffy eyes will not get long enough, usually a few hours. You could use the warm cloth to cover on the eyes to release the symptom.
