Yes, contact lenses can cause mausea when you get the wrong prescription contact lenses. Normally, the degree of your contact lenses is lower than glasses. If you wear glasses with 450 degree, you should wear contact lenses with 425 degree. So I guess you had made a mistake of buying the wrong prescription contact lenses. You should count the right prescription contact lenses or go to ask specialist to help you get the right contact lenses.

Well, generally speaking, contact lenses can not lead to nausea. As we know that nausea is the sensation of unease and discomfort in the upper stomach and head with an urge to vomit. In other words, it is related to the stomach. And also, it can be caused by alcohol, or stress and other factors. And if you wear contact lenses, there are also many things you should pay attention to. As we know that contact lenses are great invention which saves the pain of wearing spectacles while helping us see better, but special care has to be taken to look after them. If you do not use them in the proper way, you may damage your eyes. For example, if you use disposable contact lenses longer than the recommended time, it will definitely lead to eye infection. Anyway just be careful about them.
