How soon can i rub my eyes after lasik surgery?

  Lasik surgery unlike other surgery is almost a painless experience. You are awake and aware of what is going on during the procedure. This procedures normally takes about 10 to 30 minutes. And after the surgery, there are some actions are dangerous for your eyes, so that you have to avoid doing these actions. And these actions are as following: 1. Do not touch or rub your eyes even though your eyes feels uncomfortable; 2.Accept your doctor's suggestion to detect to make sure if there are any side effects; 3. Make sure no water or other stuff enter your eyes, and you‘d better do not swim; 4. Do not use your eyes frequently, and have enough sleep; 5.Do not eat spicy food, spicy food is one of the blacklist for recover. And if you want to rub your eyes or swim or something that is bad for your eyes, you should wait at least one weeks after lasik surgery.

  If you want to help heal your eyes, you 'd better not rub your eyes within at least 30 days after taking the lasik surgery. Usually, people rub their eyes because they feel eye itches, eye pain and eye dry etc. It is normal to feel eye dry after the surgery. You can ask your eye doctor or surgeon to prescribe your some eyedrops to help you release dry eye, as well as to reduce itchiness etc. Just remember that not rub your eyes after lasik surgery.

  Well, I am shocked at your question, actually, do you have to rub your eyes or is that some kind of hobby? So, as a matter of fact, it would not be wise for you to do so since by rubbing your eyes, your eyes are more frequently exposed to some bacteria which could give rise to some serious infections, red eyes, and other diseases. Plus the fact that your have taken lasik surgery, it should be forbidden. If you really feel itchy in the eyes, find a doctor and buy some drops.
