From your description, I think you may suffer dry eyes. As we know that if you do not have the necessary balance of these three layers in your eyes, or if your eyes do not make enough tears to coat the eye, you may have dry eye. And when you have dry eyes, you will have some symptoms, such as red eyes, and itchy eyes. generally speaking, it can be caused by many factors, such as the allergies, and the infection. For your situation, you can try an over-the-counter eye drop. Of course, there are many varieties; you can discuss them with your healthcare professional doctor. Also wash your eyelids to control inflammation. In addition, adding omega-3 fatty acids to your diet either in supplement form or in foods like walnuts, salmon, flaxseed, canola or soybean oil will also be very beneficial to your symptom. Of course, if you are wearing contact lenses, I think you should not wear them in a few days so that it can do a good job to your eyes.

Based on your description, you may get the inflammation in your eyes which can be caused by the long time use of eyes in front of the computers. In summary, the dryness causes your eyes feel itchy and appear red. You should have a good rest for the eyes. At the same time, you could use the erythromycin ointment to release the symptom. If after a period you find no better situation, you should go to the hospital to have a check.
