Though the hot wind blow by the hairdryer, the using time of hairdryer is very shot. Under the circumstance of normal use of hairdryer will not cause of the dry eyes disease. There still has some other reason for the dry eyes. For e.g. long time eyes use and eye fatigue. The decrease of blink times will cause lack of tear hyposecretion that lead to dry eyes and visual fatigue. This time you need artificial tears to relief the dry eyes and have a good rest after that. You need to eat some supplement or fruits which full of Vitamin A & B, and carotene. They are the necessary nutrients which would protect your eyes everyday. Carrot, Chrysanthemum tea, sesame, bean, milk and wheat germ are all the great choice for you. At the meantime, eyes massage will bring more comfort to your eyes. You can try the above ways to heal your eyes, if not help you can go to doctor for help.

If you don't blow the head with the hairdryer go directly at your eyes, your eyes will not get affected. However, your situation should deserve your attention. You should go to the hospital and have a check on your eyes to see whether it gets the infection and become dry. If so, you should use the eye drops to release the symptom.

Yes, a blow to the head can cause dry eye syndrome. When you use hairdryer, it creates hot blowing air and in that case, it may cause dry eyes as well. If you want to avoid dry eye syndrome, I will give you the following suggestions. First use some warm or hot water to clean your eyes with cloth in order to keep your eyes clean. Second, when you use hairdryer or stay in wind or hot air, you can wear wraparound glasses to protect your eyes. Third, avoid places where people smoke. Fourth, you can eat food rich in omega-3 fatty acids such as salmon, trout, tuna, herring, sardines and so on.
