What causes headaches after cataract surgery?

I just took a cataract surgery a week ago. And now i feel headaches. Can cataract surgery cause headaches?

    After the cataract surgery, there are many side effects, including the headaches because of the interlinked nerves. You should prevent the eyes carefully. Then you will observe whether the eyes get the recovery. If after several days such symptom is not disappeared, you'd better go to the hospital to have a check.

    Well, the headache often occurs after you have the surgery. And you should know that headache can be caused by the eye strain. When you have taken eye surgery, your eyes are sensitive. So it is easy to have eye strain if you overuse your eyes. We can say that it can put stress on the eye muscles and the facial and scalp muscles. In that way, it causes pain and headache. In serious cases, it can make your vision worse. So to relieve your symptoms, for your situation, you can use some eye drops on your eyes. Besides, do not overuse your eyes, and having a good rest after the surgery. By the way, you should not take some heavy exercises, or it can be dangerous to your eyes.

    Well, as a matter of fact, sometimes, there would be something wrong with your eyes, if the IOL degree is the in line with what you need. On the other hand, sometimes the headaches may be resulted from the high eye pressure. So, as long as the causes for this are various, so you need to identify what led to your situation and take measures to tackle the problem.
