Can I wear contacts for more than 12 hours?

I sometimes wear contact lenses for looks. I heard that wearing too much contact lenses is not good to eyes. So, is it bad if i wear contact lenses for more than 12 hours for a day?

Well, it seems that you like to wear contact lenses very much, but as you can see, addiction to those contact lenses would not be very healthy because they would damage your eyes. Generally speaking, 5 to 10 hours of contact lenses use would be ok, otherwise, your eyes would be harmed, leading to some other problems, such as red eyes, dry eyes, painful eyes , even some infections. Just pay more attention to your eyes.

Yes, it is so bad for you to wear the contact lenses for more than 12 hours for a day. Usually the longest time you wear the contact lenses should not be over 8 hours. If you wear contact lenses for more time, you will get dryness at the eyes. At the same time, your cornea will not get the enough breathe which will increase the possibility of getting infection and inflammation.
