Does albinism cause eye problems?

I heard people said albinism and eye problems. So, i just wonder if albinism causes eye problems. Any explanation?

    Albinism patients usually have eye problems. Eye examination is a simple way for albinism diagnose. Because albinism can damage development of retina and vision nerves, patients would get low vision which cannot be corrected by eyeglasses. There are many other symptoms of eyes of albinism patients: eyes movement, photophobia, color change of iris, strabismus etc. Surgery can help correct strabismus, but cannot improve eyesight. Sunglasses is necessary for people with albinism as they go out.
