So, it's true the surgery is quite effective, however, it also brings you some side effects and lasting impacts such as photophobia, watery eyes, even some infections. Anyway, it is temporary, you could be recovered within 2 weeks if you receive positive treatment after the surgery. Also, try not to rub your eyes and keep your eyes clean.

There are many side effects after the prk surgery, including your sensitive character of the eyes to light. It may last for about a week. After a week, your eyes will get the basic recovery. During this week, you should take care of your eyes, not sitting in front of the computers for a long time. You should also not often watch tv or other electric products. You need the good rest for the eyes.

Well, yes, it is normal to have sensitivity to light after you have taken the prk surgery. First, you should know that there are many people who have prk surgery, and this kind of surgery is safe. But on the other hand, there are also some side effects occurring after the surgery, especially when you do not take care of your eyes. For your situation, you can just adjust it by eating Chinese wolfberries. Also, after surgery, just take more care of your eyes, avoiding eye infection, or it can lead more serious problems. and also, it will just take about three days for them to recover,so you do not need to worry about it.
