Your red and itchy eyes after the blepharoplasty may be caused by the eyes infection. You should take notice of it. You could use some home remedies to improve your eyes' health. You could use the warm compress to make your eyes feel comfortable. You should eat more food with vitamin C to moisture the eyes. You could also have the good rest for the eyes.

Because your eyes are very dry and eye dryness can make eyes red, watery, itchy, and gritty and vision blurred. Because during the blepharoplasty, the extra fat and tissue are removed, it must impact the glands located in eyelids which produce tear films to lubricate eyes. This is just very common temporary side effect brought by blepharoplasty. You can put a humidifier in your room, adding moist in the air. Because our eyes are exposed to air, the humid air can help moisturize our eyes too. You need to protect your eyes from damages of dry air, wind and strong sunrays. Use some coulentum to lubricate the incisions and also reduce infection rate. The first two days could be awful for the patient. After the stitches removed, you still feel that your eyelids are tumefied and stiff. Put some lukewarm saline solution compress on eyes, no more than 20 minutes each time to relieve stiffness and pain. It could also help blood flow there. You doctor might prescribe some medications for you to reduce swelling, for example wobenzym or Auridem. Keep your incision clean. Don't expose to strong sunrays, wind or dust. Contact lenses are prohibited until the incisions are healed completely.

I know that by getting some blepharoplasty surgery, you would have a pair of beautiful eyes. But since that surgery is dangerous, there would definitely generate some side effects, such as your itchy eyes, or some infections, red eyes, etc. Therefore, you have to be prepared for any bad situations. I recommend that you follow the instructions of the doctor and pay attention to your eye health. Try not to use medicines without the doctor's help.
