Well, yes, it is possible to have eyelid ptosis because of blepharoplasty.and generally speaking, after the surgery your eyes can be sensitive and weaker. So if you overuse your eyes, it will lead to high eye pressure. And in that way, it will cause ptosis, for ptosis is usually caused by high eye pressure. For example, if you watch too much tv after the surgery, it will make you have high eye pressure, and this can be a factor which can lead to eyelid ptosis. Also, you should know that eyelid ptosis is often caused by depression. So just avoid overusing your eyes after the surgery. Also, try to have a good rest.

I don't think it is possible to get ptosis from blepharoplasty. Ptosis is called lazy eye too, for especially low position of eyelids of one eye or both. Normally ptosis happens for congenital reason, aging or muscle function impaired from injury. Blepharoplasty is a surgery which could solve ptosis problem. And surgery is the only method to fix ptosis by excising extra fat and skin tissue of eyelids. There is no way to cause ptosis because of blepharoplasty. But if the surgeon took out too much tissues, the patient will have sunken eyes after this surgery. There is no effective way to prevent ptosis. Only surgery could solve this problem. Serious ptosis will impair vision and possibly cause amblyopia or heterotropia. Blepharoplasty would give you swelling and stiff eyelids which will heal up as the incision on eyelids recovered.

Yes, it is possible for you to get ptosis because of blepharoplasty. A lot of women who love the beauty do the blepharoplasty surgery to reduce the redundant fat eye skin and muscle. In addition, they could also correct the drooping eyelid and bloated eye bags. During this surgery, you will use the anesthesia which will make you have no sense. The operation time is usually about 1-3 hours. However, there are many side effects after the blepharoplasty. If you don't protect the eyes carefully, you may cause the ptosis. You should not use the eyes too much and get into the long time nervous state which may cause your ptosis quickly. You could often do the warm compress to make your eyes feel comfortable to prevent the ptosis. You should also do the massage to make your eyes skin become smooth.
