Well, they are actually different from each other. For dry eyes, you should know that if you do not have the necessary balance of these three layers in your eyes, or if your eyes do not make enough tears to coat the eye, you may have it. And then your eyes will feel discomfort, including irritation, burning, grittiness, redness, tearing, and blurred vision. Also, there is a decrease in the amount of tear creation due to obstruction or just a minimization in tears. On the other hand, Blephariti is inflammation usually involving the part of the eyelid where the eyelashes grow. Because of it, your eyes can eventually become red, irritated and itchy. And when the small oil glands near the base of the eyelashes don't work properly, it can be possible too. Double vision and blurred vision can be the common symptoms. Anyway, you can just have some details from doctors.

Dry eyes have the characteristics of decreased quality or quantity of tears, resulting in the insufficient lubrication and moisture on the surface of the eye. Symptoms of dry eyes include lasting dryness, scratchiness and a burning sensation in your eyes. However, blepharitis is a chronic inflammation of the eyelid caused by a bacterial infection. If you are suffering from blepharitis, apart from itching, irritation and burning sensation, you may develop such symptoms as redness of the eyelids, flaking of skin on the lids, crusting at the lid margins, cysts at the lid margin, red eye, gritty sensation of the eye and reduced vision.
