Sleep apnea can cause some eye problem like eye strain and red eyes. It's pretty dangerous for those people with sleep apnea. Their life is in danger. They stop breathing for 10 to 15 seconds while one slumbers. If the airway is obstructed, the patient may pass away. The whole body function is in disorder, so the eyes suffer from this as well. However, their are lots of methods to avoid sleep apnea. Sleep on side instead of back. Raise the head of the bed.

Hello, there are a lot of eye problems caused by sleep apnea. First, floppy eyelid syndrome is the most common result, which causes eyelids to turn inside-out. Second, sleep apnea can also result in some eye problems such as excessive watering, stickiness, discomfort and blurred vision. Third, glaucoma is also possible.
