  Well, first, I have to tell you that it is possible to have diplopia after the eye surgery. And it can be normal for many people. And according to some experts, diplopia, is also known as double vision. And it can be a condition in which, whenever you look at any object, you see its two images rather than one. And, after eye surgery, it is easy to get infection. And then, you can have double vision. At this time, in my opinion, an eye patch or special prism glasses which can minimize the effect of double vision can be a good choice. Also, you should not make your eyes be infected, and just be careful about the eye infection.

  Diplopia refers to double vision. We know that vision system is complicated, a minor problem or disorder could impact what we see. Possible causes of double vision including cornea problems, lens problems, nerve problems, muscles problem and brain disorder. Based on your introduction, you got the double vision after your refractive surgery. According to my knowledge, refractive surgery might cause some side effects as blurry vision or double vision. Normally it will subside after the wound on cornea healed. If the symptom persists or worsens, then you need take immediate action to treat it. Visit your doctor or surgeon to see if anything wrong with your surgery. Find out the underlying root, then you can get treatment. In some cases, it can be reversed by medication, for example myasthenia gravis, while in other cases, surgery is a need, such as muscle problems. With detailed examination, the doctor could diagnose what is wrong with your eyes.
