  What about the color of the mucus, if it is white, it may be the symptom of blepharitis or bacterial conjunctivitis. These eyes disease would cause the keratitis. The reason of the symptom is the stimulation of environment; you would better to avoid the contact with stimulus or allergen such as pollen, paint or dust. Avoid rubbing your eyes with dirty hands that would bring bacterial into your eyes. As for the treatment, you would use clean water or artificial tear to clean the eyes, and then apply eyes with warm towel when eyes closed for three times one day, with more than half hours.   It is so bad for you to get the mucus in the eyes. You could use the eyes drops to release the eyes. The eyes drops will be owned with the anti-inflammation role which will help you get rid of the invisible bacterium in the eyes. You could also use the warm compress to make your eyes feel comfortable. You should just have the good rest for the eyes.

  Well, take easy. Firstly, flush your eyes with clean and warm water, and then use a dry wash cloth to wipe water on eyes. Secondly, massage some tea tree oil under eyes to reduce hurt. Thirdly, drop some basic eye drops to moist the surface of eyes and reduce burning and pain in eyes. After that, let down and keep a good rest. No any rubbing on eyes, or further eye infection may occur.
