It is a common practice to choose fashionable eyeglasses and sunglasses. And these products not mean only functional help. The fashion enjoyment from these devices is even more valuable. In this sense, eyewear products have become a new form of accessory. Fashionable styles always change in most industries, including the eyewear industry. Compared with prescription eyeglasses, sunglasses made by different brands usually bring more stylish elements. The reason is probably that eyewear products are mainly used in informal circumstances like sports. This allows much bolder designs in terms of frame shape, frame color and lens color. Taking use of innovative and attractive designs, trendy sunglasses thus form a significantly larger market than fashionable eyeglasses.

The fashion world in any industry is dynamic. Sunglasses that are considered fashionable and chic can change from time to time. For instance, there have been 80s sunglasses which reached a peak place in that decade. However, products like these have generally been out. In modern years, more and more manufacturers rely on lens and frame colors in conceiving stylish sunwear designs. As a result, trendy sunglasses include a large number of tinted models. Sunglasses appearing in green, orange, purple or rose can be quite charming, especially for young girls. Yet currently there are also some trendy styles in classic shapes, such as cat-eye sunglasses, Wayfarer sunglasses, rounded sunglasses and oversized sunglasses.

Except for listing some fashionable styles, it is more meaningful to let customers know some long-term trends in the sunwear industry. In recent years, very little emphasis has been given to the bling. Sparkling crystals, stones and large logos are on their way out. Differently, size still matters in these days. Large sunglasses especially oversized ones have been favored by lots of celebrities and the average for many years. This style obviously brings the best eye protection against the sun. As mentioned before, trendy sunglasses rely much on frame and lens coloring. This has been a major trend in this field. It is advisable to begin with a basic, universal color and then to add on noticeable colors.
