Actually the rates of pinguecula are much higher in contact lenses wearers compared to non contact lenses wearers (Hard contact lenses being the worst). There is an article by Mimura et al. 2010 (https://www.nature.com/eye/journal/v24/n11/pdf/eye2010120a.pdf) that shows some graphs where they compared the percentage of pinguecula (with different grades of severity) in people from different age categories who wore contact lenses or not. Pinguecula increases with age, but also with contact lenses duration of use. Maybe the use of contact lenses is not the sole cause of pinguecula, but it definitely increases its risk.

First rinse your sunglasses under the warm running water to get them wet, then put several drops of liquid soap on each side of lens.Use your finger rub them lightly and lather the lenses. Finally rinse them with warm water and dry with clean, soft cotton cloth.
First of all, go to the nearest store and see if they have any. If not, you should go online and check out various websites that sell glasses. Often times, you should find suitable glasses there. But if you still haven't got any information there, contacting manufactures directly would be a good idea.
You can do it. But you cannot start to like the habit, because it can really cause serious consequences, results in eye infection and several other disorders. If you cannot resist to rub your eyes, try to get some eye drop which will help you to keep your eyes wet and comfortable. Sometimes rubbing eyes cannot relieve that sense but get it worse.
It's mainly about fashion. When I first started skiing in the mid '80s, goggles were much cooler. Then in the early '90s sunglasses became much cooler. Now goggles are much cooler again. An awful lot of people with "all the gear but no idea" tend to wear goggles to go with their helmets even on a sunny day, and if they're happy then that's fine. But virtually all instructors and guides will be wearing sunglasses unless they're in a whiteout. I happen to much prefer sunglasses, and use them when skiing off-piste or at very high speed with no problems (and I wear contacts)
Well, of course it will make you feel good when you rub your tired eyes. Because in everyday life, we just have to open our eyes to look at things and some people who have a job which are associated with the computer are even worse. They make their eyes too pressed. When you rub your eyes, just you have massage for your body; it will improve the blood flow. In this way, your eyes nerve can be relaxed so in the end your eyes and even your body will feel comfortable. But on the other hand, to make your eyes healthy, you should not overuse your eyes and make sure to have a good rest.

Yeah, damn right!I also hate this very much.U need to know that most people who are suffering from mono have swollen eyes and which are very hard to remove.Of course, they will get back to normal as long as u recover. If I were u,I would not ignore this.Actually mono can cause several health problems to u.And ur so called puffy eyes r just one of its symptoms.Except this, its other symptoms r headache, eye strain, sore throat and sometimes even a fever.U need to pay attention when any one of these happens. As long as u find it not a tiny problem,u need to go to ur eye doctor right away.Don't worsen ur problem because of time.
