General Impression:

Just went in for my 3 month checkup, and I'm seeing 20/15 in both eyes. I'm so happy with the entire experience and the results. I can't believe that I waited so long to get this done. Before picking IQ Laser Vision, I had opportunities to go to other centers, but felt IQ delivered the best level of customer service and the whole experience was super comfortable and easy. The staff and doctors really paid attention to me and cared about my concerns. If you're thinking about LASIK, don't go anywhere else. Amazing Doctors, Amazing Staff, Amazing Experience. Thank you Dr. Lin !!!

  • Monovision sometimes leads certain patients to a dilemma that it may bring neither perfect distance vision nor clear close vision. In addition, the two eyes may be not in perfect coordination so that depth perception is affected. Monovision contact lenses’ fitting requires more skills and more time. The wearer’s vision dissatisfaction can be magnified even by a slight change in the lens power, which may also spend several days to adjust.

  • Polycarbonate lenses glasses have 100% UV protection itself in the lens material. So if you get Polycarbonate lenses glasses to wear, they can protect your eyes from all rays even if you don't add UV protection coating to the lenses. Another important feature of Polycarbonate lenses glasses is that they are impact resistant, thus they are hard to get shattered and hurt the eyes. Therefore Polycarbonate lenses glasses are widely used in sports glasses, safety glasses and kids glasses.

  • For a first time purchase, very disappointed on how slow they are with updating the process of my glasses. On top of that the lenses they received were first good, but were actually defective. Now I have to wait another week for the lenses to be made. So I've been calling to see if I could request a refund through the phone, but no one picks up. I will never order through firmoo again. Why is it so hard to reach someone when calling them? Next time, I'll stick with Coastal.com

  • There are several factors that can cause double vision. For example, a tumor, blood clot or trauma--or simply a sign of visual fatigue or an incorrect eye glass prescription can cause double vision. Besides, if your children are with disabilities such as Down syndrome or cerebral palsy may experience double vision. So, you'd better take your children to visit an doctor. Good luck.

  • If I forget my reading glasses , it will be quite difficult for me to read out the words . I can only see the outline of them .that's too bad . So I have two pair of spare reading glasses in my cars and purse in case someday I forget to take them .

  • It should depend on the quality. Some people find they can get broken much easier but others don't. You need to give special care to the rimless glasses and don't wear them for competitive sports.

  • Yes, it's bad for your eyes to read books on iphone in the dark places. Generally speaking, it won't really affect your eye sight but it’s still bad for you, because you focus more with your eyes which will put stress on them. It's mostly genes that affect your eye sight. Reading at night with the low brightness is just a small percentage of what affects your eyes. The main reason people say you shouldn't do that, is that your eyes will hurt, and you'd get a headache and the focus you put into it, will weaken the elastics in your eyes. And you will make it harder to focus in the future. Anyway, Reading from any screen is bad for you, especially in the dark. It’s always best to read in a well lit room.

  • Castor oil has lots of usage, it does can help eyelashes grow. Because it contains vitamin E which is the key elements for eyelashes grow. However, olive oil is better than castor oil. Pasting the olive oil with vitamin E can make your eyelashes grow very fast if you insist on doing that. But they'll stay at a certain point.

  • Got cold in eyes means conjunctivitis generally speaking. There are totally three types of conjunctivitis, bacterial, viral and allergic conjunctivitis. And cold eye refers to viral conjunctivitis specifically. It is the most common case of conjunctivitis, which is caused by transmission of virus during or after getting a cold or upper respiratory infection. Because the symptoms are similar to cold, so it gets the name eye cold. It is acute eye infection, with symptoms like watering, itching, redness and increased sensitivity to light. The most common cause for eye cold is the pathogen family, such as herpes simplex, the influenza virus and etc. It is strongly contagious. Direct contact with infected person would make the people infected. Sharing towel or toilet, or just drink from the same glass is very dangerous. Common conjunctivitis usually last for days. Allergic conjunctivitis might go very soon as long as if you are out of touch with allergen. But as to viral conjunctivitis, especially caused by herpes, it could last for months. Be careful.
