While I lived in Clearlake, CA., It was brought to my attention that I was legaly blind. I visited Dr. Young, and after two procedures to remove my cataracts and replace my lenses(in eye), my vision for the first time in 57 yrs., was 20/20. I feel he is a "God" of his profession. Just last week, I had a "secondary cataract" removed from behind my lense and everything is back to normal. This second surgery was performed by a "trainee" of Dr. Youngs, Dr. Kevin Beadles, in Martinez, CA near where I currently live. They are both GREAT....

  • I think your relative should have his or her eyes checked by an eye doctor. He may have other kind of potential healthy problems other than vision problems. Usually scratched sunglasses will not cause those serious damages to your eyes. They won't lead to blindness. But we do not suggest people to go on wearing a pair of scratched sunglasses for they can't block UV rays and they may lead to blurry vision. If your relative drives, the scratched sunglasses may cause vision problems and may possibly lead to an accident. So I strongly suggest you all not to wear scratched sunglasses in future.

  • Hmmm, as far as I know, Armani sunglasses are one of the best in the world. And if you plan to buy a pair of them, you should prepare yourself a big budget you know? And basically there are some ways to identify h authenticity of those sunglasses . First, you should carefully examine the surface of the sunglasses, any bad spots can be a sign of fake. Also, you can call their service hotline to check it out. That would be the most useful way, since they know how to identify.

  • Of course you can.But why don't you get the lenses together. Many online stores can make the prescribed lenses for customers.

  • You may have heard that diabetes causes eye problems and may lead to blindness. People with diabetes do have a higher risk of blindness than people without diabetes. But most people who have diabetes have nothing more than minor eye disorders.

  • It may be related to some serious problems, such as thyroid eye disease, eye lid problems or tumor in the socket or optic nerve swelling. In this case, you need to see your doctor and have your eyes checked.

  • No, it's difficult to say that ray ban sunglasses are made in USA only. Actually, according to some information, New Ray-bans are made in Italy. Bausch & Lomb USA stopped making the Ray-Ban sunglasses which range back in 1998, so if you have the sunglasses which have the markings Ray-Ban USA and claim to be 2005-2006 models, will not be genuine Ray-Ban. In other words, the Ray-Ban brand is now owned by the italic Group. Italy now own and produce the sunglasses. Ray-Ban is no longer made in the USA.

  • You can't wear sports glasses when playing rugby unless you want shatters of glass in ur eyes. It is so dangerous. I have a team mate in high school who was bloody near blind, but never played with glasses or contacts.

  • What showed that you may get some eye problems. If you watch TV in a long time, fatigue and tiredness can increase the pressure in your eyes, then the blood vessels may prominent than before and your eyes become red. If not, you may get some basic eye problems, such as strain eye and dry eye. These basic eye problems are easy to cause eye infection and redness.

  • Eyes would possibly turn red for long time exposure to the strong sunshine. It is a habit for people to protect their skin from sunshine with sunscreen yet what do you do to protect your eyes? Sunrays would darken or even burn the skin, while it could do the similar damages to the eyes. The strong UV rays of sunlight would burn the surface tissue of eyes and even cause damages to the lenses and corneas. Red eyes refers to capillaries broken and hemorrhage in eyes. We know that these small blood vessels are vital and delicate that they can be broken easily. Some simple actions would cause it, for example crying, vomitting and coughing. Long time exposure to UV radiation can cause it too. I suggest you to wear sunglasses to protect from damages from UV radiation. According to reliable resources, long term exposure to UV radiation might speed up the growth of cataract and people who lives in a region with strong sunshine are at a higher risk of developing cataract. Some good sunglasses can provide 100% protection from UV rays.
