Barb Konrad Just called Becky in billing dept. to set up payments for my deductible. I informed her that I am on disability and only have $800.00 a month to live on, and will make $20.00 a month payments. She advised me that they dont take payments, only payment in full, and that I have till Sept 17 to pay up or an additional charge of $25.00 will be added and sent to collections. No compassion, no heart. Im a 64 yr old disable senior, and doo not have the full amount. She could not care less. As I am sure Dr. Milauskas doesnt care either. What happened to "First do no harm"? I am sure I can find a Dr. who does care about patients and not just his bank account....

  • The most common test is the Ishihara test. The optician will show you a number of plates which are printed with dots of different colours and ask you to identify the figures (for example a number) among a background of dots in another colour. If you are color blind, you will be unable to identify the figures hidden in the background of dots.

  • Personally, to get a good look, you can try eyeglasses with small shape in the lenses to match your close set eyes. So far, i noticed most of people with close set eyes look good with small lenses eyeglasses. Of course, you shall consider your face shape and whole images. So, try on some small lenses eyeglasses thus to pick up the most suitable pair.

  • You can get your first pair of eyeglasses for free from coastal.com if you are new glasses buyers to them. I ordered a pair of eyeglasses for free from Coastal when they give away free glasses. I asked them to make my lenses thinner and add some coatings to the lenses, so I paid a little extra for them. But before you get free eye glasses from them, you should provide prescription including your PD. When I recieved them, I was very pleased with them because the quality of the lenses is good. I've heard Firmoo also give away free glasses. You can compare them. Good luck!

  • Many conditions associated with vigorous eye rubbing due to itching can cause keratoconus. These include seasonal allergic conjunctivitis, contact lens associated irritation/allergy and various atopic diseases (such as hay fever, eczema, asthma and food allergies).

  • You may have too much of an elemental metal in your system, particularly if you are male--look up hemochromatosis, and check with your doctor. Iron and copper can build up in your system, and a ring around the iris (the colored part of your eye) is a diagnostic feature.

  • The goggles Natalie Coughlin wears are femme eclipse from TYR. If you want to wear the similar type, you could go to the online stores to have a search. The price online may be cheaper than those in the real stores. And the quality is just as same as those in the real stores.

  • Well, yes, acupuncture can help to treat puffy eyes. According to some experts, acupuncture can be used to heal many eye diseases. For example, Glaucoma, Cataracts, Chronic Dry Eyes, Macular Degeneration, Optic Neuritis, Optic Atrophy can be treated with it. But on the other hand, you should know that it helps to eliminate fine lines and makes the deeper lines look softer. Also, puffiness can be reduced. By the way, it can also help to minimize dark circles, double chin, sagging skin, and dropping eyelids. So you can just have a try.

  • It's a temporary eye disorder that lasts about 12 to 24 hours. Snow blindness appears when the intense UV rays mirrored the snow into your eyes to burn your cornea. In such case, it's not easy for you to distinguish colors because your eyes would see everything in red. Hence, it normally disappears when you close and rest your eyes for a certain period indoors.

  • Well, in my opinion, your fatigue can just lead to this situation in your eyes, such as flashing lights in your eyes. And generally speaking, when you are tired, it will just increase the eye pressure, and then affect your eyes, leading to some eye problems such as flashing lights. And if you have flashes of light, it can be an indicator of a serious eye problem that needs immediate treatment. In some serious cases, flashes accompanied by vision loss or by a large number of floaters, small specks, which appear in your line of vision and appear to float or dart from side to side. So you should pay more attention to it.

  • Pink eye and eye allergies may have some same symptoms, so I suggest you to see an eye doctor first immediately. Many people will apply visine eye drops to relieve their red eyes, but I suggest you not to apply this kind of eye drop for it is not really that great and sometimes it will make your eyes red and the irritation may go worse. Artificial tears are a kind of genteal mild drop that are applied to dry eyes, and op-con eye drops are good for redness. You can put some chilled teabags on your closed eyes. This will help with your puffy eyes and calm down the inflammation.
