    1.Dr Don Stover

    526 W Putnam Ave
    Porterville, CA 93257-3274

Dr Don Stover is a 1-star Optical Store1 Reviews

I am writing this review because I hope to help someone to save their time, money, and most importantly their health! Dr. Stover may be the WORST doctor I have ever been to! Not only did he refuse to do some of the testing I requested! He misdiagnosed me AND I had REPEATEDLY asked him if I had what I thought I had to which he said NO. On top of ALL that and his EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF, when my insurance would not cover my prescription, he personally told me that he was too BUSY to change the prescription AND that I should figure it out and let him know! Since I'm not a doctor... I had to go to another OPTHAMOLOGIST!!! His MISDIAGNOSES CAUSED ME AN EXTREME AMOUNT OF PAIN!!!! I would NOT ever recommend this doctor to anyone!!! AND I WOULD GIVE HIM ZERO STARS IF THAT OPTION WAS AVAILABLE!...

  • There are two probable reasons which cause this symptom. The first probable reason is that a little mascara falls into your eyes. The second probable factor is the poor quality of the mascara which has strong irritant to your eyes. Therefore, I suggest you select a good-quality mascara and be careful when you use it. Remember to use eye makeup remover every night before going to bed. Moreover, you can replace mascara by false eyelashes.

  • Well, in my opinion, yoga can be good for dry eyes. Generally speaking, if you do not have the necessary balance of three layers in your eyes, or if your eyes do not make enough tears to coat the eye, it is possible to get dry eyes. In other words, there is something to do with tear system. And it has been proven that yoga can be good for body health, but also eye problems. For example, it can just make body have good balance. And in that way, it will just cure the dry eye problem. Also, it can be good for eye floaters. By the way, when dry eyes occur, your eyes will feel discomfort, burning, redness, tearing. So just take care of your eyes.

  • While engaged in exercise or stretching, the flow to your brain and eyes may temporarily be limited. This can create visual disturbances, such as seeing spots, floaters or other strange visual phenomena. The situation should be temporary and the spots should go away once normal blood flow returns. Warming up by walking or jogging for five to 10 minutes before stretching may prevent you from seeing spots as the result of reduced blood flow.

  • In the early stage of diabetic retinopathy, there is no obvious sign that can tell whether or not you have the condition. But in the later stage, you could suffer Fluctuations in Vision, Floaters, Blurred Vision, Sight Loss. But some symptoms can come and go.

  • You can judge if you have sensitive eyes by the symptoms of eye sensitivity. Your eyes will be sensitive mostly due to allergies and conjunctivitis and trauma. Eye sensitivity caused by allergies can have symptoms like watery eyes, itchy eyes, burning eyes, dry eyes and eyes' sensitivity to the light. Eye sensitivity caused by conjunctivitis will result in symptoms such as sore eyes, painful blinking, sensitivity to the light and puffy eyes. Minor or major trauma to the eye can cause eye sensitivity, causing eye pain and infected eyes. You will also suffer from eye sensitivity due to aging and the symptoms include sensitivity to bright light. So obviously you can tell if you have eye sensitivity by comparing to the above-mentioned symptoms and for sure you can tell your eye sensitivity by the sensitivity to the light.

  • Are you a contact user? If you are, your itchy eyelids and red veins in the white part of your eyes can be caused by contacts. The abrasion between the contacts and the inner side of your eyelids may lead to your irritated eyes. Do not rub your eyes when you have contacts on. And lubricate your eyes whenever you feel dryness in your eyes. You may also need to stop using contacts for a few days. If your symptoms persist, you may need to see an eye doctor immediately.
