General Impression:

I recently went into this shop and received the highest of service. Doctor Delgado performed the examination and explained more than I ever knew was necessary regarding my vision. He was so thorough I was very surprised and pleased. Barbara Delgado assisted me and my daughter in deciding which frame to purchase and showed us the difference in the available lenses. Choosing a frame can be difficult, she made it fun and let us take as much time as we needed. The Optical Shop has a huge selection of frames so it can be a one stop shop for sure. We went three times to select a frame as we are way too choosey, but we found the perfect frame, we did compare other shops and found the service, prices and selection of frames were superior here to the others we looked at.

We are very pleased and happy with the service, people that took care of us and the choices we received. Thank you so much Dr. and Mrs Delgado for your patience and great service. A great team at California Street Optometry. We highly recommend them.

  • You'd better go to your eye doctor to have an eye exam to see whether you need glasses for distance and reading. Maybe you only have to wear reading glasses. If you do need glasses for both distance and reading, then bifocal glasses is a good choice.

  • Yes, it's normal for someone has one eyelid lower than the other ones. So I think you should not worry about it. It's relatively common and not usually associated with anything else, but with the body structure. Because there is no two leaves which are perfectly same with each other. There are still no same eyelids. But if your case is serious, you may go and see a doctor. So that he can give you a exam and make sure your eyes are ok.

  • Well, as far as I am concerned, different people have various style, so my advice for you is to develop your own style, maybe the one that Johnny Depp wears looks fantastic, but first you should consider his reputation and style, age and way of life. Bear in mind that he's an actor and singer. If you insist on buying one and have a try, be aware of that you should change your overall looks.

  • It is normal that our right eye tends to see more clearly than the left eye cuz there is a dominant eye in our eyes. When I close my right eye and try to see things at distance, it is also blurry. So don't worry about that.

  • I can get why you ask this question. It seems you are interesting to become a pilots. From TV, newspaper and magazines, it seems pilots like to wear aviator style sunglasses. Some people thought it's ray ban. They are really cool especially for men with a pair of dark aviator sunglasses. If you want to make up like them, you can also try aviator style sunglasses.
