General Impression:

New in Chicago and needed new glasses so I looked online for something nearby. I was unsure the first time I went to the office about a year ago, as the street front and waiting room do appear empty and somewhat run-down. However, having just returned from my second eye appointment, I have to gush about what friendly and kind people work here. I think it's a rare experience when going to a Doctor's appointment is the highlight of my day! The doctor is caring, thorough and makes sure to tell me what's going on at every step, and even though eye tests aren't that exciting, he made me feel like I was getting an "A" on my exam. A hidden gem in the Albany Park Neighborhood-- can't recommend highly enough. :)

  • Welding is often involved in our life, it can generate very stimulating even harmful strong lights, especially when it flashes quickly. So this is absolutely dangerous to our eyes. However, most often the stobe light that we encounter is not welding light, but generated by cameras when we take photos. Compared to welding light, camera strobe is not so harmful, because its intensity is much less. But on the contrary, very often exposion into it, eyes also fell uncomfortable, or even painful, so this is when you have to avoid further effects. So, occasional using of camera strobe lights will not harm your eyes. Do not forget to protect eyes from varied aspects, such as sit up straight, and keep necessary space between any screen.

  • Your daughter can wear contact lenses if either she or you can take the responsibility to care the contact lenses. The contact lenses usually cannot negatively affect the eyes of a young child, for there is some cases in which children younger than 6 wear contact lenses. Children are less likely to be conscientious enough to wear contact lenses and even some 13-year-old teenagers are impotent wearers. The cases of successful adaption to contact lenses among children are not so many. The adaption of children to discomfort, their independence and parental involvement have much to do with it. So you should consider these facts. Actually, contact lenses are the best choice for children with eye problems because children are active in various sports and the contacts will more effectively correct the eye problems.

  • Massaging the affected area with natural oil can help relieve your bruise. Using olive oil is recommended, as it is an effective healing agent. Alternatives like castor oil and coconut oil can also be utilized.Victims should be careful not to apply increased pressure in the process of massaging the affected areas with oil as this can only result in increased pain. This should be done as many times as possible in a day as this will aid the body's lymphatic procedure in eliminating it. To increase the effect of the massage, it should be heading outwards from the center of the bruise. Hope this helpful.

  • Get a pair of glasses that fit you properly so that they won't fall off even when you are running. If your glasses are too loose, they are easy to slip off your nose when running, which is verry annoying. You can take your glasses back to the place you bought them and ask the worker there to adjust the glasses for you so that they can fit you exactly. A proper pair of glasses should be neither too tight nor too loose. As long as they fit you properly, they won't fall off again when running.

  • Yes, it is possible for you to get glaucoma from eye trauma. As we know, the main reason of glaucoma is the high pressure at the eyes. If you get the eye trauma, your eyes will get unstable eye pressure at the eyes surface. You need to have the good rest for the eyes, not sitting in front of the computers for a long time. You could use warm compress to make the eyes feel comfortable.

  • When you wear your prescription eyeglasses, it can help you get better eyesight. That is top say wearing prescription eyeglasses can help you treat myopia so as to see far. • I have not run into such problems, but I think you can ask your friends or sister or someone else to help you finish the eye makeup if available.

  • Yes, it would, but it depends on what kind of shampoo you use. Shampoo is a daily hair care product, which removes dandruff, oils, dirt, skin particles and other particles that build up in hair. The main integrations are surface active agent, conditioner, smooth agent and essence. Hence, there are two main shampoos that are used in daily life. One is chemical shampoo, the chemical integration would be harmful to eyes, especially the cornea. It's better to clean eyes with cold water immediately if it happens. The other one is herb shampoo, it might not be harmful to eyes.

  • Hey, if you or anyone you know is hosting trivia, be sure to check out https://bit.ly/triviarat-com. Its a free web app for accepting responses and marking! It's great for zoom trivia or onsite -- and on that note, remember that handing out physical paper/pencils will not be on the "allowed" list once things start opening up. Thanks :)
