The best contact lenses for dry eyes are soft contact lenses, as opposed to rigid ones. Soft contacts have been developed over the last few decades and made of special polymers, or plastics, that actually allow the lenses themselves to hold water. These soft polymers also are permeable, allowing oxygen to pass through, quite literally letting your eyes breathe. The cornea has to receive oxygen through the air, as it has no blood vessels of its own. Consequently, oxygen permeability is an extremely important characteristic of contact lenses, especially contact lenses for dry eyes.
It depends on the prescription. If it is your first pair of bifocals, you should be able to wear a progressive with no trouble. See an ophthalmologist for a second opinion about the high eye pressure and ask them about progressives as well.
It looks like your eyes have got some problems, and made your eyes look weird. From what I know, tanning would make your eyes absorb a lot of light and perhaps you didn't wear sunglasses or something, so your eyes were damaged. And in the meantime, if your eyes are allergic to strong lights, the problem would be worse. Anyway, try to consult a doctor and do not tan without proper protection.
Infections, allergens and trauma can cause red and itchy eyes. If you get an infection, you'd better see an eye doctor immediately for some kind of infections can be highly contagious. If you are just suffering from allergens, you can avoid the allergens to relieve the symptom without any special treatment. If your red and itchy eyes were caused by trauma, you need to see an eye doctor for professional treatment.
When you go to choose sunglasses, make sure the sunglasses can protect your eyes well. First of all, you should consider whether the sunglasses have 100% UV protection. Sunglasses with 100% UV protection coating or UV 400 can prevent your eyes from all UV rays including UVA and UVB rays. In addition, polarized sunglasses are better for eye protection because they can reduce the glare from surface of water, snow and glass.
It could be simple dry eyes, and it could be iritis. Use some artificial tears and see if it helps. If it does, great, keep using it. If it doesn't, you really should be seen by an ophthalmologist!
Sports sunglasses for running are designed for runners to not only protect their eyes from the sun, but also prevent wind, dust and other particles getting into the eyes. So we should choose good running sunglasses to protect our eyes from being damaged. Here are some types of sunglasses that are good for running. Oakley Minute Sunglasses have a wrap-around design like big sunglasses, but they are in smaller size. Thus they are best for a smaller face while running. Smith Toaster Slider Sunglasses and Adidas Shield Sunglasses are also good for running.
I guess it is not a big problem according to what you described . It won't cost much .But if it designer it will still cost a bit more to fix than a normal pair over all. As I estimate , it might cost $20-$30 . Take it back to the place where you bought it and they may charge less .
I often take my glasses to the optical shop where I bought my glasses. Last time when I got some scratches on the lenses of my glasses, I bought them back to the shop. The stuffs in the shop helped me to buff the scratches out. And it cost me nothing. They do this for free. If you don't know how to remove the scratches on your lenses, you may ruin your lenses in some way. If your glasses are very expensive, your shop may charge you. But it will not be very expensive.
