General Impression:

I was just walking by the Optical shop at Wal-Mart when the sales person said hello and gave me a bottle of cleaner and a cloth. Took a look around the opticial with the lady then chose to get a exam while I was there. Dr was so nice and explained everything, couldnt believe how nice. Then bought two pairs of glasses, picked up 5 days later and can see so much clearer. Have to say those ladies at that store, will be seeing more of my friends and family, felt they treated me with care and respect.

  • Not all eyeglasses can prevent lights. If you want your reading glasses reduce the light that enters to your eyes, you shall ass your reading glasses with anti-glares coating. With such anti-glare coating on the lenses, the can filter the lights, glares so as to prevent these lights to your eyes. If you needn't vision aids, you can buy non prescription glasses that can protect the eyes from sensitive to light.

  • Although light consumption of alcohol probably won't cause any health problems, drinking alcohol excessively can have harmful effects on your body, including your eyes. Heavy drinking of alcohol may cause problems with your vision and overall eye health including decreased visual performance, slow pupil reactions, decreased peripheral vision, decreased contrast sensitivity, optic neuropathy, frequent migraines and poor cosmetic appearance. Drinking alcohol can cause eye redness. Alcohol causes the blood vessels in your eyes to expand, making them more prominent. Moreover, alcohol consumption do cause itchy and watery eyes and theses symptoms will be disappeared when the eye drops are used. Hope this helpful.

  • I'm very sorry to hear about it. Your eyes dilate primarily for controlling the amount of light that enters your eyes. There are many reasons that lead to it together. Firstly, your eyes dilate maybe for the purpose of physiological stimuli like being charmed to somebody. Under this condition, it's your focus on something switching suddenly that gives rise to it. Secondly, your eyes dilate maybe indicate that your head have injury or other symptoms of your body such as your eyes dilate awkwardly and no repercussion to the light. On this occasion, you'd better see a doctor and take medical help. Thirdly, it may means that you have something very happy or in love. As we know, people in the excited state, the eyes will dilate for some time. I think there must be some other reasons that lead to your eyes' dilation. Take it easy, it doesn't matter!

  • It is really funny question. Usually, You can get your aviator sunglasses repaired for free of charge at where you buy the sunglasses from. If you often wear sunglasses or glasses, you can just buy a screwdriver partially use for the screw for sunglasses from optical store. Then, you can repair your sunglasses yourself whenever the screw loose. It is not worthy to pay for somebody who tight the screw of you sunglasses.

  • Essilor Transitions lenses exist in gray and brown colors. So your lenses don't have any problems. If you don't like brown color, you can have them replaced as soon as possible. If you want to know more information, you can search online to have a good understanding of this kind of lenses or ask your Eye Care Practitioner about this kind of lenses. Hope this helped!

  • People with crossed eyes can not see things straight. However, if they wear the special kind of eyeglasses, they will focus things and see things straight. They could go to the online stores to buy the special glasses to help them with the right vision. The online price will be suitable which will help them save a lot.

  • Technically, the pin hole glasses DO work, to a limited extent. It has to do with the physics of how light passes through small holes. The problem is they only work in pretty bright lighting and you have to be looking directly at something to see it. Also, if you think you don't look good with regular glasses, you are going to look really silly wearing those pinhole glasses out in public. Wearing either kind of glasses is NOT going to "fix" your eyes, they only compensate for the problem while wearing them.

On the internet, you might find various plans of eye exercises, eye vitamins, etc, NONE of these schemes have been scientifically proven to work, so don't waste your money.

If there was some method, where people could fix their eyes at home for free, everybody would know about it and you wouldn't have all these people wearing glasses, contacts and getting laser surgery!

There are TONS of cool glasses frames available, certainly there must be some style that you like (or hate least). If your local shops have a poor selection, try looking on www.go-optic.com, they have a humungous number of frames (even if you decide to get them elsewhere, it is a good place to see a lot of frames!) The site www.zennioptical.com has really inexpensive glasses, you could get several pairs in different styles quite inexpensively.

In theory, you could get contacts, if your eyes will tolerate them, you can handle taking care of them and you parents are OK with it.

  • Our eyes need many kinds of nutrients. Though there are many products sold in many shops that said they are good for our eyes. But I think there isn't best eye care product that you can find in any shops. You can only provide your eyes with all kinds of nutrients day by day. And when we are getting older, our organ can't digest all nutrients, so our eyes will degenerate and our eyesight will decrease. This is a common phenomenon. But don't worry. It happens to everybody, so why not accept this natural phenomenon?
