  • Well, it will not cause damage to your eyes. However, as you know vaseline is very moisten, and this may cause your eyes go a fat granule, especially if your are oily skin. In my opinion, to our youth, we often confront black eye bags, so we can just use gel. To us, the gel will not too rich and also can moisturize our eyes. And you will not afraid of go a fat granule. What's more, if your eyes feel dry, you can try mask for eye. And appropriate rest is also necessary to our eyes.

  • Pink eye is very common and it usually is not serious and goes away in seven to ten days even if you do not take care of it. As long as you do not rub your eyes with your hands and wear contact lenses during this special period, your pink eye will heal on its own. Otherwise, it will aggravate and do harm to your eyes.

  • Tea tree oil if sometimes used to treat a specific form of blepharitis caused by demodex. The treament focuses on the eyelids but if some gets in the eye, although it might be irritating, it is unlikely to lead to permanent vision loss. Most foreign substances contacting the eyes pose risks of infections, ph injuries (acid/base), or thermal injuries (temperature effects), other than the direct force effects involved. In general, ample irrigation without rubbing is a good start. If there is any question of injury (such as changes in vision, discomfort, increased or persistent redness) you should see an ophthalmologist soon!

  • It is easy to remove the redness from your eyelid. Don't rub your irritated eyes. Then apply some artificial tears to your eyes. This will relieve the itchy caused by dryness. If there are some foreign objects in your eyes, you need to get them out of your eyes. You may need to wash your hands before doing this, and open your eyelids and ask somebody to check for you. You can use a piece of clean wet towel to wipe your eyes gently.

  • Regarding to your question description, the problem may be caused by the incorrect seg height of your progressive lenses. You need to take your progressives to the optical store and find out what happened. It is not normal. Hope this helpful.

  • I read all the replies/suggestions to 'clearbluesky' question and she's not alone on what she experienced. I experienced it as well. I did have a stinging/burning sensation as soon as I placed the cucumber slices on my eyes and had to wash it immediately. I don't have any allergy to cucumbers, I washed it well and didn't use any cutting board, my knife was clean, just washed my face clean, and everything else that I have to do before putting those cucumbers. The area around my eyes especially got sore and had a burning feel to it for sometime. I won't try it again. I know that cucumbers are good for puffy eyes but with this reaction I got, I'd rather try another thing. Anyone has more suggestions?

  • It is so bad for you to get the bit of hydrogen peroxide into eyes which will cause your eyes to be red and swollen. You need to wash it out as soon as possible. In addition, you should also use some eye drops to clear the eyes and make them get bright. You could also use some warm compress to make your eyes be comfortable.

  • If you have difficulty removing contact lenses and feel the contacts stick on your eyes, it may be caused by dry eyes, You can use some eye drops which can moist your eyes, and keep blink your eyes so as to help you get rid of the lenses in your eyes easily. Then, you can remove the lenses as you do usually.

  • You need to take your prescription into consideration while choosing eyeglasses lenses. If your prescription is relatively lower than -500, so you do not need high index lenses. Actually, if you have much strong prescription, then high index lenses are much better, because the higher the index, the thinner the glasses in the same prescription conditions. As to polycarbonate lenses, they are impact-resistance but they are a little bit expensive than other kind of glasses materials. Hope this helpful.
