I would say different about Andover Optical as I read that review and went there. My first experience was kind of odd feeling but the lady who was helping me was nice. Even though I felt that way I said to myself that it could just be a new environment for me and maybe I’ll adjust to it as I just moved into the area. But, after my last visit I will not go there again as I was treated VERY unprofessionally.
I called in if I can order my contact and the lady there said I don’t have a prescription until I go back in for a checkup. Since my last visit was in Feb. 2011 the lady who I spoke to over the phone said that normally they would charge me, but this time they won’t and will go ahead and order me another pair of contacts as I have to wear them in to have it looked at before I can get my prescriptions.

  • At one time, it was thought that no specific genetic patterns were associated with macular degeneration. However, recent research may indicate otherwise. But mostly, macular degeneration is associated with aging changes. The amount of reduced vision is directly related to the severity of the disease.

  • There are several tips to guarantee that you can get real sunglasses of any big brand. 1. Ask for the specific product code. Different from other product, every sunglass has its own product code. For example: sunglasses Burberry 8396/S 0CH7 OZ is a typical product code. 8396 is the serial number, S is short for sunglasses, 0CH7 and OZ stand for frame color and lens color. Check the product code. If there is no code or the code is different from the same sunglasses on the official web. It might be fake. 2. Check the certificate. Many big brand sunglasses are sold with certificate. Formal sunglasses stores are the under strict control system. Only stores with official license are allowed to sell real brand sunglasses. Even sunglasses can be highly copied, the certificate can be. That is heavy legal offense. 3. When you decide to by brand sunglasses, you can go check its official website. Address of licensed stores will be listed. You can find the nearest one without worrying about being cheated. I hope these could help you to get good sunglasses.

  • Of course, you should clean your contact lenses cases every day just like cleaning your contact lenses. We are suggested to use hot water to clean the contact lenses cases because the hot water has the function of killing bacterium. However, you can also use the solution to wash the contact lenses cases. Whatever you use from the above two types, you should do it everyday.

  • Bad vision can be quite a pain in the neck, especially when you are playing football. You have my sympathy. But in order to improve your vision, you'd better, first and foremost, get some goggles or prescription sports eyeglasses. goggles and prescription sports eyeglasses are known for their function of vision correction as well as protection. Once you have a pair on your eyes, your vision will be enhanced and at the same time, protect your eyes from being hindered by dust, glare and accidental damage. Basketball megastars such as Dwayne Wade and Amare Stoudemire all used to wear such a pair. They kind of become these sports athletes' trademark. You can have your eyesight checked by an optometrist and then have a custom-made pair of prescription sports eyeglasses of your own. Then you can have your way in the court. Finger crossed.

  • Yes, the cold weather will cause your dry eyes. You may feel dry at the skin, too because of the large consumption of the fat inside the body. In addition, you should eat more food with vitamin C to moisture the eyes. You should drink more water to keep the balance of the temperature in the whole body.

  • After death, the cornea loses its glistening appearance and becomes dull & opaque. The eyelids usually close after death due to primary flaccidity of the muscles, but the flaccid muscles usually fail to produce complete exposed, a film of cell debris & mucus forms 2 yellow triangles on the sclera, which become reddish brown and then black, and dust settles steadily. Hope this helpful.
