  • Well, astigmatism can just lead to light sensitivity. And also, blurry vision can be possible. At this moment, I will suggest you wear contact lenses which are designed for astigmatism. In that way, it will do a better job to correct the astigmatism. So you can just have a try.

  • You can go back to the store where you bought the glasses. Being new glasses, likely that you will be able to use the warranty agreement, and they change your lens, if you don’t have any responsibility for the occurrence of the spot or scratches (I mean you have not damaged the lens).

  • Non prescription reading glasses don't mean there is no degree in them. They are made with the same power in both lenses are suitable for people who only have presbyopia and have the same power in both eyes.

  • If your contacts have prescription while your sunglasses are a pair of plano sunglasses, they can be put on together. The contacts can help correct vision problem and sunglasses can block UV rays and filter glare for your eyes. Both of them are good for your eyes. But if both of them have prescriptions, you'd better not wear them together. Hope this helped!

  • Yes, it is possible to lead to eye floaters because of depression if you can not deal with them properly. Actually as far as I know, everyone may has eye floaters and you just become hyper-aware of bodily sensations because of your depression and anxiety. So my suggestion is that leave your feeling of eye floaters alone and there is just no connection between them. Calm down and good luck.

  • Staring at the computer for too often a long time can lead to two main kinds of eye sight damage. First of all, it will cause eye fatigue. No matter when you are reading or staring at the computer for a long time, it will cause eye fatigue. This is because that the ciliaris muscles continuously contract, which, as time goes by, can lead to near sight. The second harm is caused by the irritation of the blue ray from the computer screen, which can lead to the apoptosis of the optesthesia cells and decrease of eye sight. Besides, this blue ray can also make your eyes feel fatigue. Therefore, to protect your eyes from the damage, you should take regular rest and avoid overuse of eyes, have a break every one hour. You can also try wearing a pair of blue-ray protective glasses when you are working before the computer. In addition, eat more foods which are rich in vitamin C, anthocyanin, and vitamin B1 and so on. These chemicals have good anti-oxygen effect. Also, use eye drops to moisten your eyes, and spread some eyecon on the skins below the eyes to prevent from getting infraorbital dark circle.

  • The primary mode of treatment for a stye is application of warm compresses. Incision and drainage is performed if resolution does not begin in the next 48 hours after warm compresses are started.

As a part of self-care at home, patients may cleanse the affected eyelid with tap water or with a mild, nonirritating soap or shampoo (such as baby shampoo) to help clean crusted discharge. Cleansing must be done gently and while the eyes are closed to prevent eye injuries.

  • Double vision is a serious eye disease. The orchestration of multiple areas of the vision system determine the movements of eyes. Double vision can be caused by stroke, glaucoma, cataracts and blurred vision. So solutions must be based on causes. It has known that double vision cannot be corrected by itself. Wearing special eye glasses will be the best choice to correct your double vision.

  • As we all know, our eyes need light to work, but too much of the wrong kind of light can lead to diseases, such as age-related macular degeneration. The UV lights can damage our eyes, the blue light as well. It is the most energetic portion of the visible light spectrum. It is less energetic than UV radiation, however, it has the ability to penetrate into tissue and cause cellular damage. The worst damage from blue light involves pigments that accumulate only in the retina cells. On the other side, is able to initiate phototoxic reactions, which means it can absorb light and initiate reactions in the cell that are damaging.

  • Some eye exercises that can stimulate tear ducts can help treat dry eyes effectively. One of these eye exercises is blinking. Close your eyes tightly for several seconds and then open them to start blinking for a few times. Repeat this exercise untill the tears flow. Then the tears will keep your dry eyes moist. Or you can move your eyeballs to stimulate tear ducts and help treat dry eyes. Just move your eyeballs to the left and right as long as possible, and then up and down, which may help the tears start to flow and then treat your dry eyes.
