  • The bifocal are the eyeglasses that have two distinct optical powers. It is most common used for correct both myopia and hyperopia. And the people who are over 40 need wear the bifocal glasses. At the same time, the bifocal lenses can reduce eye strain in early ages. However, it is enough for younger people to wear one single lenses of glasses.

  • Eye inflammation is a common eye problem, which is mainly caused by infection. Hence, some simple remedies can treat it at home. The most effective and simplest way is placing cucumber slices over your eyes for 15 minutes to relief it. And you had better drink plenty of water during the day to accelerate immune system. Meanwhile, you can use ice-cold water to wash eyes to relief the symptom. Additionally, you can use honey water as eyewash to soothe the eyes. Normally you add three tablespoons of honey into two cups of boiling water to mix them, you can use it until it is cool.

  • You could just use the clean water to wash the anti-reflective glasses like the normal eyeglasses. However, you could bring the anti-reflective glasses to the eyeglasses stores to let the clients use the professional washing machine to wash the lenses for you. It will be the professional method. And your lenses will be cleaned so clear and become new again from the look.

  • To begin with, you should know that ptosis is actually droopy eyelids. Maybe your eyelids are not as droopy as they can block your vision but I still think that droopy eyelids make me look not nice. You can try moving your eyes in clockwise movements. It is not that hard, right? You can do it every few min during an hour. Some people also said that we can use eye patch to remove our droopy eyelids but I don' t think I can agree with this. This will get our eyes infected quite easily. You had better not do that.

  • All I know is that both LCD&plasma cause less eye strain than CRT. It has something to do primarily with refresh rate. The default 60hz refresh rate caused a flicker in CRTs that was very annoying after a short time. You could increase your CRT's refress rate to 72 or more and the effect would become unnoticable. LCD's don't seem to flicker at all, or at least, not at 60 Hz. LEDs which have been around forever, are just beginning to be used as a display technology and I haven't heard any stats on how they compare to LCDs or CRTs or Plasmas.

  • I think string eye discharge can be a sign of allergy. But if you only have stringy eye discharges, you may get a cold other than suffering from an eye allergy. An eye allergy often bought people with problems such as itching, redness, burning or clear watery discharges. Sometimes you will suffer from all of these symptoms. But sometimes you may just suffer from one or two of them. I suggest you to see an eye doctor first. Hope you will be fine soon.
