The temporary double vision can be caused by the problems in any part of the vision system such as the problems in cornea, lenses, muscle, nerve and brain. If there is something wrong in your cornea, only one of your eyes is likely to see double vision. This is because that the surface of your eye is damaged thus the incoming light is distorted, which leads to double vision. The damage may be the result of cornea infection and a rare complication of LASIK surgery. Cataract, which is the problem in lenses, will distort the images from both eyes and cause double vision. Muscle problems such as myasthenia gravis and grave disease are the possible cause of double vision. Staring at the computer for too often a long time can lead to two main kinds of eye sight damage. First of all, it will cause eye fatigue. No matter when you are reading or staring at the computer for a long time, it will cause eye fatigue. This is because that the ciliaris muscles continuously contract, which, as time goes by, can lead to near sight. The second harm is caused by the irritation of the blue ray from the computer screen, which can lead to the apoptosis of the optesthesia cells and decrease of eye sight. Besides, this blue ray can also make your eyes feel fatigue. Therefore, to protect your eyes from the damage, you should take regular rest and avoid overuse of eyes, have a break every one hour. You can also try wearing a pair of blue-ray protective glasses when you are working before the computer. Vision is an active process that involves the eye, eye muscles and the nerve pathways. Tired or fatigue can cause the disorder between eye muscles and the nerve pathway, then cause eyes problems. For most people new to needing readers, it's highly unlikely that they'll need a high powered lens. Presbyopia like many eye diseases typically starts as a minor vision impediment, and slowly increases as you age. While it's possible for people to need reading glasses that use a strength of 3.5 - 4.0 diopters, glasses like theses are relatively rare, and most people only need low powered readers. Reading glasses are rarely manufactured for strengths greater than 4, and typically range from strengths of 1-3. While reading glasses generally don't need to be as accurate as normal prescription glasses, finding the right size for you is important, as wearing the wrong size can cause headaches, dizziness, or nausea.
