It does take time to adjust to monovision contact lenses. Monovision contact lenses are used to correct one eye for distant and the other eye for near. So many people find it difficult to get used to monovision contact lenses. Some people will wait for several weeks to adjust to monovision contact lenses. While some people can get used to monovision contact lenses a couple of months after they begin to wear monovision contact lenses.
Well, yes, blue light can just lead to macular degeneration. And generally speaking, as we all know that excessive exposure to sunlight might lead to the development of Macular Degeneration, which is related with vision loss, in some cases. And some studies have shown that short wave radiation and blue light can impact the photoreceptor and RPE function. In that way, it will just lead to macular degeneration. And if you suffer macular degeneration, it will just weaken your eyes, leading to some serious eye problems, such as retinal detachment. And finally, blindness can be possible. So just be careful about blue light.
You can wear contact lenses when you go to skiing. Actually, you should wear contact lenses if you have near-sightedness. Glasses may be harmful if you fall. So wearing contact lenses can be a necessity when you do some dangerous exercise. Do not wear glasses. The best choice for you is wearing goggles with prescription.
You can use dishwashing soap to clean your glasses. Rinse the lenses in a circular motion and wash the frame gently. Then you can rinse the lenses and frame with tap water. Some people may dip the glasses in the soap water. But that is not a good way to clean the frame. You'd better rinse them rightly after you washed them carefully. Good luck!
Glaucoma can damage the optic nerve of the eyes and lead to vision loss and blindness. If you suffer from glaucoma, you should see your eye care professional regularly to protect yourself against vision loss avoid the hazard of becoming blind. But if you leave glaucoma untreated, it will result in blindness eventually.
My experience. One day after surgery is a check up. One week after surgery is second check up. Three weeks after the second check up, or exactly one month after the surgury is the date they will write you a new perscription for new glasses. It takes time for the eyes to adjust, I know mine did. Sometomes they are willing to do this in three weeks instead of 4. This is up to the individual Dr. My cloudiness was gone, but vision still a little blurred but I hava a stigmatism. If you paid for the premium lenses, ( I didn't ) you might have totally perfect vision. Insurance don't cover premium lenses for cataract surgery. That could be several thousand out of pocket.

Dear friend, don't worry. Some environmental irritants may cause itchy watery eyes. Check your eyes to see that are smog, chemicals, hot wind, blowing dust, bright lights or airborne allergens caused your itchy watery eyes. If it is, you needn't apply special treatment for the symptom will disappear on its own few hours later if you avoid touching these irritants. But if your symptoms persist, you may need to see an eye doctor immediately. Some blepharitis, abrasions or other infections may be the causes of your itchy watery eyes. They may need some medical treatment.
Apart of matching clothes, yellow sunglasses lenses can increase contrast in hazy, foggy or low-light conditions to help you see clear. And sunglasses with yellow lenses tend to make objects appear sharper both indoor and outdoors. That make yellow sunglasses popular for people who like hunting. Nevertheless, yellow sunglasses lenses also cause color distortion that make it not recommended when drive on the road.
Yes, eye color will change in our life, but it changes slowly. I don't know why. But I think it is a natural phenomenon that we shouldn't worry about that. And it will not cause any side effect on our eyesight if it doesn't change quickly and obviously. If you don't like the color of your eye, you can change it with colored contact lenses. Do remember to have the eye doctor's prescription before you buy that!
