In the Lille, optometrists can be found in the vicinity of a chain optical retail store, or in an independent optometrist's office. Optometrists are trained to address both vision refractive errors and eye health. Many optometrists sell high-end eyeglasses and contact lenses in their practices with the most professional possible services in addition to performing eye exams and writing prescriptions. Ophthalmologists are medical doctors (MD) in the eye care and vision health who perform eye exams, write prescription for eyeglasses, sunglasses and contact lenses, diagnose and treat eye diseases and carry out eye surgery. Ophthalmologist's responsibility is much beyond that of optometrist.

  • This problem is kind of complicated. Sometimes, bubbles just come out because of wrong wearing methods. But as it doesn’t work even you have already tried moving them around and pushing, it must be other reasons. First of all, it might the something wrong with the contacts lenses. When the diameter of contacts is too long or the radian of contacts is too small, it may generate bubbles as the contacts lenses can no match your eyes and there will be spare space between eyeball and lens. If so, you shall go to get new contacts. Another possibility is that the bubbles are inside or onsides the contacts lenses. Take off the lenses and use collagen solution to wash them, bubbles on lenses can be wash out only by collagen solution. Then check carefully, if bubbles can be seen, it means that the contacts are of low quality and shall be immediately replaced. The second type of problem is that your eyes are not OK with contacts. Sometimes, bubbles in contact are aroused by inflammations. If so, you shall not wear contacts any more and have to go to see doctors to cure your eyes. After recover, for your eyes sake, you must wear frame glasses only.

We both know that too much exposure to UV rays would burn our skin and accelerate the aging process of skin, resulted in spots, wrinkles and even skin cancer. We always wear sun screen to protect our skin. However it is hard for us to realise the damages to eyes from UV rays. UV rays could also burn the surficial tissue of eyes, causing pain, sensitivity to light and discomforts. The best way to protect eyes from UV rays is wearing good sun glasses which can provide 100% protection. The night blindness refers very poor vision in evening or dim circumstances. It is usually caused by vitamin A deficiency, pigmentary degeneration of retina or poor development of rods cells in eyes. You'd better have a check to find out the cause. Normally speaking, exposure to UV rays won't cause night blindness, but it is very harmful for eyes. If you are suffering from night blindness, eating more apples is helpful.

  • Oh, of course sometime we will buy a pair of glasses online that doesn't fit for our face. There are three ways to deal with it. One is to accept this pair of glasses and never place an order in this online store anymore. The second way is to complain about the problems that you meet and ask for a refund, but you may need to pay the shipping fees. But if you get insurance before placing this order, you just need to pay a small amount of insurance fees. This is really a better deal. The third way is to have your glasses replaced by the online store and you need to wait for another few days. It takes your times and energy. And you must be patient because the complaints will not be taken as kindly as you think. Some customers will get annoyed by the customer services and decided not to buy products in this store anymore. So before placing an order, you must be careful. Good luck!
