My prescription is high (-13/-13.75) and after years of being advised that I need to spend £100’s on high index lenses, I took the risk of going for one of the cheapest options (1.56 index)... and they look fine... the difference compared to my older glasses is pretty small. I’m also in the category of being someone with a narrow face & find glasses that aren’t huge on me really hard to come by. The light weight plastic helps keep them in place as opposed to my $300 kiaser glasses no mater how mucha bend the center holders or the stems the heavy metal makes them slide down ruining the make up on my nose.
