In the Coquitlam, optometrists can be found in the vicinity of a chain optical retail store, or in an independent optometrist's office. Optometrists are trained to address both vision refractive errors and eye health. Many optometrists sell high-end eyeglasses and contact lenses in their practices with the most professional possible services in addition to performing eye exams and writing prescriptions. Ophthalmologists are medical doctors (MD) in the eye care and vision health who perform eye exams, write prescription for eyeglasses, sunglasses and contact lenses, diagnose and treat eye diseases and carry out eye surgery. Ophthalmologist's responsibility is much beyond that of optometrist.

    You are welcome

  • That isn't always the case people that gain heterochromia via injury or radiation from a toxic substance can have reduced or diminished vision. However people that are born with heterochromia are not at risk of losing eye sight. The reason being that genetic heterochromia does not effect the pupil. So the cones and rods are unaffected by the mutation. For example I have heterochromia in both eyes (aka double iris affect) and I have 20/10 vision. ALso heterochromia can in rare cases also effect the color of ones hair. These cases also have no effect on the person effected other than an abnormal color. In cases like mine people may have heterochromia in both eyes and their hair and still have no diminished properties. Finally it is normal for cases with heterochromia in multiple places to have a single mutant color throughout. In my case it is gold.

  • You should know that subconjunctival hemorrhage is one of the most complicated problems related to eyes, because it simply scratched the retinal of your eyes. I mean, if your subconjunctival hemorrhage is not properly taken care of and cured, and there is a lack of treatment and clinical care, then you might suffer blindness. So you need to take some immediate measures before things go wrong. Hope you recover as soon as possible.

  • I think you must be one of those sports fans right? Actually, I used to have the same question but later I realized that it would be absolutely ok for anyone of us to take exercise or jog with a pair of contact lenses in, those contact lenses would not fall out easily. So you don't have to worry, just enjoy your sports hour. But try not to get too much exercise, which would be bad for your eye health.

  • Blue-light blocking lens materials can help. These are available with prescription and nonprescription glasses. Follow the 20-20-20 principle. This means, look away from your computer or digital device every 20 minutes for 20 seconds about 20 feet away. This helps your eyes refocus. Also, if you are using devices, make sure that you have ambient lighting.

  • Usually our eyesight decreases slowly. But if we adapt the correct way to maintain the health of our eyes, the eyesight may remain the same. So if you find that your eyesight decrease dramatically or you suffer from blurred vision occasionally, you'd better see an eye doctor immediately. Sometimes, these symptoms can be a warning sign of some kind of serious eye disease of health problems. Doctors can recognize them for you timely.

  • Wearing cosmetic contact lenses is the only way for you to make your eyes more grey. If you are not myopic, you can wear contact lenses of zero degree. But if you are myopic, choose the right prescription contact lenses. You can choose different colors of contacts on your own in the glasses shop. And I just want to tell you that so far there is no other ways to make your eyes more grey naturally.

  • Horn rimmed sunglasses are always in the fashion in recent years. There is so few people wearing it because they can't get good look from it. Round horn rimmed sunglasses, as one of an classic style retro vintage sunglasses, come back into fashion now. But they round shaped make it limit their customers because these sunglasses may more suitable for people with rectangular face. So, some people have to give up the sunglasses. If you have a thin, small or rectangular face, you can try such round horn rimmed sunglasses.

  • That depends. How long the distance when you read? What view were you looked for? If you red a book in your hand within 5 centimeters, and find the double vision appeared, it may not only be the myopia except the strong prescription. Myopia's feature is vision clear in short distance but blur in far distance. If you read in near distance with double vision, it may be the astigmatism. It is a kind of optics defect in an optical system in which light rays from a single point fail to converge in a single focal point. What the hell of your eyes disease, you would better go to hospital and use professional instruments for check!

  • Yes, the vaseline will do good for the dark circles under eyes. Dark circles form underneath your eyes due to dehydration so that means that you may not be drinking the proper amount of water needed. Remember, water is vital to your healthy, acne-free skin. The Vaseline jelly helps bring moisture back to your under eye area therefore reducing the dark circle that appear. Just the same aspect as putting lotion on your dry, chapped legs. Brings back moisture and keeps your skin soft.
