I paid $3000 to Dr Deborah G. Tennen in Agoura Hills for LASIK with the guarantee that if my vision wasn't perfect, additional surgery would be included in the price. Tennen talked me into LTK instead of LASIK. She said it would take 3 months to heal. After the surgery it took 6 months before I could see. At 3 months out I asked why it was taking so long to heal and she told my everything was normal, and then in the same visit would tell me my case is an anomaly. I now have astigmatism in both eyes and at night lights appear starred and blurred. At the end of 6 months she told me that I had to pay an additional $600 for LASIK which would correct the astigmatism. When reminded of the all-inclusive price she retorted I had to pay, since it was a different procedure. These things made me feel she is incompetent as well as untrustworthy, and since she had already botched my vision, I decided it wasn't safe to have her try to...

  • Unlike other products, glasses are custom made products. Glasses are professional vision correction tools for people with vision problems. That is why they are costly. But you can still find some online stores offer glasses with high quality but with affordable price, usually 1/2 lower than that in brick and motor stores. Firmoo is one of them, they have large selections of frames, but you can save up to 80%-90% for a pair, my last pair cost me only $20 with shipping.

  • Wearing plain glasses is becoming a worldwide fashion followed not only by students, successful man but also the celebrities. As the pour of this trend, glasses are no longer only the vision correction tool but also a fashion accessory. So it is not stupid to wear plain glasses as accessory.

  • As we konw that Polarizing lenses work by filtering out horizontal light that causes glare. LCD screen on the computer also have a polarizing filter, but they are commonly at around a 45 degree angle. That is to say, when you tilt your glasses at the right angle, all of the light is filtered out and the screen becomes blank.

  • They are chasing fashion, I see many famous stars wear glasses even they have perfect vision.I know some people wear non-prescriptin glasses to conceal the eyes without make up. Some even wear glasses to prevent wind and sands.

  • It is becoming a trend of fashion for wearing glasses frames without lenses in. They are followed not only by students, successful man but also the celebrities. As the pour of this trend, glasses are no longer only the vision correction tool but also a fashion accessory.

  • Actually there aren't any clearly distinguish between the female and male. And at present, many people are tend to choose unisex frames which would make him/her look cool and fashionable. BTW, the female frames are always larger/rounder and more decorated than male's. The frames for female are always in many colors and patterns.

  • Polarized sunglasses with good quality won't cause cancer because they will block the harmful rays or glare that would damage our eyes. If your eyes are exposed to the sun directly, then it will cause cancer. However, polarized sunglasses is the strongest defense against cancer of the eye.

  • 1. When refers to sunglasses, UV protection should be your first concern. Sunglasses protect your eyes from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays, reduce eye strain in bright conditions and protect you from flying debris and other hazards. 2. Choose the right color of the lenses. 3. Consider the lens material. 4. Decide on a style. 5. Make sure the sunglasses fit properly.
