  • Personally speaking, I would not suggest people to wear contacts. There is a higher risk of getting infection than wearing glasses. But to your question, I think don't wear your contacts when you use the computer otherwise your eyes could get extremely dry and can even hurt.

  • You can find them in many glasses boutique and try different styles to find the most suitable one. If you have a habit of shopping online, you can search them on google. There are many online stores specialized in glasses.

  • You can do it if the frame is in normal size. Generally they will replace the new prescription lenses for you. Just take your glasses and prescription to the nearby optical store.

  • It should depend on which lens index you choose. If you choose the standard 1.5 index, of course your glasses will be very thick. But if you choose 1.67 index, it can be much thinner. But the thinner the lens is, the more expensive they are.

  • Maybe there is but it is hard to find. You can go to the drug store and ask.

  • Dry eyes are the most common side effects of eye drops cuz long term usage of eye drops can affect the normal producing of tears which are the most important factor to keep your eyes moist. Some kinds of eye drops may cause allergy and complications.

  • They are safe for your eyes if you wear them occasionally but your vision maybe partly affected due to the frame. Just remeber to choose a pair that fit your face properly otherwise you will feel uncomfortabel.

  • You should not try to rub your eyes hard if there are sands coming into them cuz you could scratch the corneal. Close your eyes and then half open them, repeat this for several times. Then the sands will come out with tears.
