  • Cycling glasses are fairly similar, if not identical, to other sports sunglasses. But they are significantly different than fashion sunglasses. When comparing general sports sunglasses to cycling-specific sunglasses, I've noticed a few trends: More of the cycling-specific models have interchangeable lenses than general sports models. More of the cycling-specific models have vents. Hydrophobic coatings seem to be harder to find on cycling-specific models. These are just my observations based on statistically insignificant sample sizes.

  • I have just had the eye exam from the specsavers, paying for free because I take part in the discount activity of buying a type of eyeglasses. I don't know whether the pearle vision also has the discount activity. You may call their store and ask the exact price now. If you don't know the number, you can go to the internet and have a search.

  • If you don't have any problems to see the things in the distance, you may hurt your eyes by wearing reading glasses all the time. Reading glasses can help us see things in nearby clearly but they will provide blur vision if you use them to view things in the distance. So I suggest you to wear reading glasses when you need them and take off them when you don't need them.

  • First of all, you should be eighteen years old to fifty years old, so that you can take the lasik surgery. Then your myopia degrees in the recent two years should be stable on the condition of 150 to 2000 degrees' nearsightedness, 100 to 400 degrees' astigmatism, or 200 to 800 degrees' farsightedness. If you are eligible to these two preconditions, then you can go to the hospital to take a series of strick examinations and the doctor will tell you whether you are suitable to take a lasik surgery or not. If you are told that you can take the lasik surgery, then you should following these rules. First of all, you should not stay up late at the night before the surgery, and just rest, and you had better take a shower the night before the surgery. Secondly, if you wear soft eye contact lenses, you must stop wearing them a week before the surgery, if hard eye contact lenses, then stop at least two weeks before the surgery. Thirdly, you should apply antibiotic eye drops three or five days before the surgery. And on the day of surgery, you should not wear any perfume or makeup. Last but not least, you can take imitative fixationexercises with one minute each time.

  • Digital eye strain is the result of sitting too close to screen, which causes eyes to become inflamed. It's not just the amount of time you spend in front of the screen, but also the size of the font, your posture, computer set-up, the amount of blue light emitted from the screen. Preexisting eye conditions, such as glaucoma and cataracts, may also cause digital eye strain to become even more severe. There are a number of ways to protect your peepers from the damage caused by excessive screen time. The authors of the report recommend building a work space that is conducive for keeping good posture and minimizing eye strain. This includes centering your computer monitor directly in front of you, sitting arms-length away from the screen, positioning the monitor so the top of the screen is level with the eyes and making adjustments to the work area to avoid computer glare. Some eye doctors recommend investing in computer eyewear with an anti-reflective lens that can also be combined with a specially formulated coating that blocks and selectively absorbs blue light. it would be ideal to cut down the amount of time you spend in front of a screen each day, it's not always realistic. One way to alleviate eye discomfort is to follow the 20/20/20 rule, which is to take a 20 second break every 20 minutes and look at something at least 20 feet away.

  • Glasses provide accurate and predictable vision correction.they can protect your eyes from injury, such as something getting in your eyes. They can reliably correct your vision. And they are very easy to take on/off.

  • *OD stands for Oculus Dexter - Latin for "right eye" *OS stands for Oculum Sinister - Latin for 'left eye" Did your optometrist also take a PD measurement? That is the measurement between your pupils. This ensures that the prescription is set in correct spot in your glasses. Also, if you want bifocals, you will need to have that height measured in the particular frame you choose.

  • For children's eyeglasses frames, you should consider the Durability and Safety Issues. So it is better to choose unbreakable frame such as titanium frame. As for the style, because I don't know whether your children is boy or girl, you'd better take him to the store and let him/her choose what he/she likes.

  • Well, as a matter of fact, such situation happens regularly. Anyway, you should know that sometimes burning eyes is a sign of our health problems, and if the situation remains bad even if you change all the external reasons, then the problem might be resulted from your health. Perhaps you have just been too tired and your diet is not healthy? Or perhaps you have overused your eyes? Just head for the hospital if necessary.
