  • To help you get used to progressive glasses quickly, you should stop wearing your old glasses immediately and wear new progressive glasses as long as possible all day. Put on the glasses as close to your face as possible.

  • A balanced, vision-beneficial diet should include some helpful nutrients, e.g. vitamins, minerals, healthy proteins, omega-3 fatty acids and lutein. In detail, antioxidants including vitamins A, C and E can prevent the oxidation effect in the eye, preventing age-related eye diseases. Dark green or brightly colored fruits and vegetables are rich in antioxidants and lutein can be found in leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale, sweet corn, peas and broccoli. Carrots and squash contain plentiful vitamin A.

  • Noir Glasses provide effective blue blocker sunglasses. You can also choose Oakley, Maui Jim, Uvex and Revo. Wrap around sunglasses or clip-on sunglasses are also available to block blue light. When you go to choose sunglases, you can ask the optician recommend some for you.

  • Eat healthy foods which contain much vision-beneficial substances, e.g. vitamin A, vitamin D, lutein and zeaxanthin etc. Fruits and vegetables are widely recommended. • There are three types of tinted contact lenses: visibility tinted contact lens, color enhancement contact lenses, and opaque contact lenses. If you want to make your eyes look different, you should choose the opaque contact lenses.

  • There are several types of eye occlusion depending on the different location: Branch retinal artery occlusion, Branch retinal vein occlusion, Central Retinal Artery Occlusion, Central Retinal Vein Occlusion. Different type may have different cause and symptom, such as BRAO is usually caused by a small clot. A BRAO can cause a sudden loss of peripheral vision, BRVO can cause a small clot in a retinal vein. CRAO can cause sudden, serious, but painless loss of vision in one eye and CRVO causes mild to severe sudden but painless loss of vision.

  • In general, eye twitches are caused by too much stress or a lack of sleep. Maybe the alcohol is just triggering it, and those are the root causes.
