He could not have been nicer or more accommodating to my elderly parents when I woke up on a Saturday morning to find dad's glasses broken. Stanley was open on Sat. until 1pm (which is more than I could say for their previous provider) and helped dad pick out appropriate new frames. He made adjustments/temporary repair to dad's broken glasses so they could be worn until new ones arrived. Prices fair, not cheap, but quality of service is valued by my household. Thank you!...

  • I think the eye allergy won't go away until you find the true cause of this allergy and avoid it as much as possible and take preventive measure to it. There is no permanent solution for eye allergies.

  • Yes. A lot of companies make OTG (over the glasses) type of goggles, but they are not convenient to use. Why don't you choose prescription goggles? They offer more convenient and effective solution and sharpen much of the clarity that can be lost between two separate lenses.

  • If the strap can be loosened, try that. If there is nothing you can do for it, take it back to the place where you bought them and ask the staff there to adjust it. Otherwise you need to get a new pair.

  • Most over the counter eye drops contain preservatives and using it excessively may a rebound effect. You can try to use cold ice bags to numb your eyes for comfort. The problem should go away later. If it still exists, you need to see the doctor.

  • First, you should try to relax, anxiety and stress are not good for the baby. There should be no big deal to use eye drops. If you are quite worried about this, go to the hospital and have an exam to make sure the baby is all right.

  • NO, extended contacts can't come in different colors. Because the extended wear lenses should have high oxygen transmission levels and enable our eyes to breath more, but with colors, they can't. So they won't accept the colors.

  • You should put the eye drops at least 5min before wearing contacts. Most eye drops contain preservatives and the pharmaceutical agent which may get stuck in the lens over time. So you should not use eye drops when wearing contacts.

  • When you wear extended contacts for a long time, potentially dangerous microorganisms can adhere to the lenses and get trapped between the lenses and your eyes. These microbes thrive in the warm, moist environment under your contact lenses, especially when your eyelids are closed during sleep. And because contact lenses reduce the oxygen supply to your corneas, your eyes are less able to fight off infections. So many doctors began encouraging patients to always remove their contacts before sleep.
